Today I'll write about how to improve my English reading skills.
In the previous article, I declared to continue reading English articles posted on NHK World. In this article, I will tell you the details of method.
First, I aim to read newspaper written in Japanese. I think I can't understand what the article describes when I read the article written in English without any background infomation.
To do this, I found a fact. It may be stating the obvious, but the order of stories is different between English articles and Japanese articles.
The order of news may be changed according to language as the order may be changed according to newspaper publishing company. The difference is the difference of footing.
Second, I aim to read aloud an English article. I feel that some words are able to stay in my head when I read them aloud. To communicate others in English, I have to know currect pronunciation.
